IndusFood is an annual global food and beverage trade show organised by the Government of India to promote Indian food industries and boost exports. With over 30,000 attendees from around the world, the exhibition aims to position India as a hub for processed and finished food products.
We crafted a unique visual identity for IndusFood, focusing on the fluidity and richness of India’s food heritage. The logo’s design is inspired by the vibrant colours of the Indian flag, blended in a liquid form to evoke a sense of natural ingredients, spices, and food diversity. The typography, though in English, carries the subtle essence of Hindi to reflect the Indian roots while appealing to a global audience. This fusion of cultural elements and modern aesthetics helped create an inviting and relevant brand that resonated with international stakeholders. Additionally, we designed hoardings and banners for the exhibition space, creating an immersive visual experience for visitors.
Challenge
The main challenge was to develop a global identity that stayed true to Indian culture while appealing to international stakeholders. Balancing the modern and traditional elements to represent the diverse food industry was key.
outcomes
The brand identity successfully captured the attention of international buyers and exhibitors, elevating India's presence in the global food industry. The branding was widely appreciated for its simplicity and cultural depth, leading to increased participation and business deals at the event.
